There is a silence where no sound may be in the cold grave
In the cold grave, under the deep deep sea
- Thomas Hood (1798-1845)
The Piano - The movie was mesmerizing, intense and oh so sensual.
The first time I watched this movie, I was quite young and I couldn't understand some aspects of the movie. I have watched it a few times on Astro and CDs a few years later and I was so impressed by the casting and the imagery of the movie.
The scene where Ada returns to the beach to play her piano while her daughter - Flora dances infront of sea waves, it is so beautiful that I really believe it's a piece of art.
Ada plays "The Heart Asks Pleasure First" during the beach scene, the music that touched me profoundly. It's like a mood that passes through you.
