Many rumors have been popping about about the Draenei being the new playable race in the Burning Crusade. Blizzard itself has never confirmed any of this, but this rumor has become more popular than the Pandaren one.
Some factors supporting this rumor are as follows:
- Blizzard is seeking to balance out the ugliness and prettiness of the Horde and Alliance by adding the Blood Elves (a pretty race) to the relatively ugly Horde, and the Draenei (an ugly race) to the relatively pretty Alliance.
- Considering that Outland will be an integral part of the Burning Crusade expansion, and the Blood Elves are one of the races in servitude to Illidan in Outland, it makes sense that another Outland race would also be involved for balance (which are Naga and Draenei).

The new Alliance race cannot be pandaren. The expansion would have been released by now, however the planned race was pandaren, but about 1 month before the expansion was due to be released the Chinese kicked up a fuss about how it goes against their beliefs to kill Panda's and, let's face it, it's WoW - Pandaren will die left right and centre like any other race. So blizz had to go back to the drawing board. This is a fact. The Alliance Race will NOT be Pandaren.
Hehe, looks like Alliance is probably getting a greenish race to play.
The blood elves looks great. I'm looking forward to play a Blood Elf Mage when the WoW expansion is out.

The draenai males may be un-pretty, but they are Superman-esque in their build and posture... rather like comiv-book heroes. The draenai women, however, are HAWT!!! They've got the swayback and the ghetto-booty, and their face and hair models are rather on the attractive side. Overall, all Blizzard did was add Asian/bishoujo-looking high elves and hot cloven-hoofed women.
Ummm, dude. That's a bit sad thinking video game characters are hot. Seriously, get a girlfriend or something. Like, just look at proper women and you'll forget all about "hot" video game characters...
aether beleive me once u play wit a draenei female ... god they r as hot as hell..... even thinkin about them ..... ouch hehe... plus i hav a gf and i watch woman but....
