WoW: How to farm tubers and NBDs

These 2 items are very useful for raids in World of Warcraft. They give u free hp and mana restoration. The cooldown is only 1 min each.

Install Felwood Gatherer Mod (FGM) : http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=2446

FGM shows you where in Felwood the plants are located and gives you countdown timers as to when they will spawn next. The countdown timer for each plant appears after you have successfully gathered the plant. Press M to see the location and its countdown timer.

Use the cenarion salves obtained from the Tauren NPC near south. It is a repeatable quest where u are required to gather Corrupted Soul Shards by killing mobs around felwood, or obtain Fel Creep from herbs in Felwood if u are a herbalist. By turning them in, u will receive Cenarion Salves.

Cleansing the plants
Use the Salves on those corrupted plants. Once they are cleansed, u will be able to loot the reward. All cleansed plants will respawn around every 25 minutes. Use the FGm to keep track of their respawn time.

How to collect plants in group
The best way to collect plants is to be in a large group (40 max.) If everyone right click on the plant to collect it at the same time, everyone in the raid gets loot. Not only does everyone get to collect from the plant, but you are much safer in numbers as many Alliance frequent Felwood.


Method #1 - Countdown
1. Raid leader calls out "Get Ready"
2. Everyone mouse over the plant but do not right click on it
3. The Raid leader will say "5, 4, 3, 2, 1"
4. Right click on the plant as soon as 1 is called.

Method #2 - Spam click
1. Raid leader calls out "10 seconds left, spam click now"
2. Everyone keep right clicking on the plant.

I spent 3 hours with guild last weekend and gathered about 100+ each of the NBD and Tubers. That would last u for about 1 - 2 weeks of raids.
